Marty has tried over 30 cases to conclusion in state and Federal court. He has successfully defended several retail pharmacy chains in various litigation including pharmacy negligence claims, defamation claims and invasion of privacy claims. He has successfully defended numerous Arizona counties in trial and defended employers in personnel board hearings, before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and before the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. Marty also provides advice to health care clients pertaining to employment matters. He has represented hospitals in credentialing matters both internally and in litigation. He represents bars, restaurants and taverns on negligence and dram shop issues. In the products liability area, Marty defended manufacturers of commercial and industrial materials and products, food products, aircraft, and commercial and residential constructions materials. He has served as Western Regional Counsel for Rubbermaid, Inc.
Marty is a director and shareholder of the Firm. He was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1986 and is a member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel.
