Erica J. Krobot

Education: University of Arizona, 1999, B.A. Journalism, Cum Laude; DePaul College of Law, 2002, J.D. and Certificate in Health Law Studies.

Practice Areas: Medical malpractice, appellate advocacy and insurance defense and civil litigation.

Experience: Erica practiced law for three years prior to joining Campbell, Yost, Clare & Norell, P.C. as an associate in August, 2005. Her experience is primarily devoted to the defense of health care providers in medical negligence and wrongful death lawsuits, including all aspects of litigation. She also does appellate work for the Firm’s clients. Erica was a participant in Arizona College of Trial Advocacy and most recently helped establish Arizona legal precedent to permit the discovery of a non-party sibling’s special education records in Catrone v. Miles, 160 P.3d 1204 (2007).

Other: Erica was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 2002 and the United States District Court, District of Arizona, in 2003. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, Maricopa County Bar Association, Arizona Women Lawyer’s Association and Arizona Association of Defense Counsel. Erica is currently working on establishing a Phoenix-based non-profit organization to assist the geriatric population.
