Experience: Mary is a director at the firm. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced with another Phoenix firm for fourteen years, eight of which she served as a shareholder and member of management. Mary started her career as an assistant city prosecutor for the City of Phoenix serving in both the trial and appellate sections of the office. Mary's practice emphasis is in commercial litigation and health care litigation. Mary has extensive civil litigation experience handling a wide array of cases, including high profile cases, in the areas of wrongful death, automobile/trucking/motorcycle, title company representation, medical negligence, employment and section 1983, environmental, product liability, and premises liability. She has tried in excess of 25 civil jury trials before all courts in the State of Arizona with excellent results, in addition to 20 criminal jury trials and in excess of 100 bench trials.
