Practice Areas: Medical malpractice, health law, insurance defense and risk management.

Experience: Sandra is a Director at the firm. Sandra has extensive experience in litigating medical negligence matters. Prior to practicing law, Sandra worked as a pediatric critical care nurse for twelve years. During her nursing career, she taught pre-hospital courses in pediatric emergency medicine and was a pediatric advanced life support instructor. She also worked as a flight nurse with extensive trauma and critical care experience for Airevac. Her former career as a critical care nurse provides her with a unique perspective on representing health care professionals and institutions. Her health law practice encompasses representing health care professionals in review board and licensing matters. Sandra also has experience in medical product litigation. Sandra has lectured to nursing groups on the legal aspects of medicine.

Other: Sandra was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1992 and is a member of the American and Pima County (Arizona) Bar Associations. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Attorneys, Pima County Defense Bar, and the Maricopa County Bar Association.
